Church Update – 23/02/18
I love the time in Sunday church when we get to celebrate others. That moment when people share what is happening in their lives – they smile, and we smile and then we clap and cheer them. “Rejoice with those who rejoice!” Can’t beat that as a way to live.
There is so so much to celebrate!!
- Kris & Vanessa move into their home tonight.
- Tanya graduates tonight as a Midwife.
- Cadet Miriam Choi joins us this Sunday and will be with us for the whole year.
- The Street have their inaugural service this Sunday. We are excited that there is another church on the Peninsula and that more Christians are joining us as we partner with God to build His Kingdom.
- This Sunday night young people from around our division will meet here in our hall for Unite – Praise Party. Starts at 5pm. Never too old!!
- We are going to win the trophy at the Divisional Sports Day next Saturday – sign up this Sunday!!
And there is more to celebrate. Much more.
Check out our Harvest Poster. Harvest Sunday is 18 March. We will celebrate the gifts and talents that our ours – some God given, some finely tuned over time. We all have gifts which we can use to serve God and others.

We are bound for Heaven – Part 3 of Imagine Heaven this Sunday.
